Default Gauges + Dash Mods?

Hey guys, I saw a couple weeks ago some pics of some dash mods and gauges running up/replacing "the O SH*T!" handles and also, a mount on the dash left drivers side for a tuner/chip monitor.

Would be great if somebody could educate me on what these are called and how I could get my hands on some of this!

Thanks!

The gauge pod on the pillar is an a-pillar gauge pod, a lot of guys use them when they are running any typer of boost, but you can put any type of gauge in there :oil temp is another one you see a lot, especially on boosted engines once again.
You can probably find one on ebay or even andysautosport.com

The pod for the tuner is probably the edge evolution pod. its a really nice pod that comes with the edge when you buy it.

An edge evolution tells you all the temperatures of engine oil and trans temp and about everything you need a gauge for.

Yea but a dedicated set of gauges running up you a-pillar looks pretty sick!

I paid twenty bucks for my A-pilar pod (used). I have an oil temp (I don't have a tuner since I have the 4.2 V6). I did however install and engine oil cooler and trans oil cooler. My SCANGUAGE II provides the trans temps, but not engine oil temps. I installed a guage in the pod for the engine oil temp, plus an analog clock. On long trips, I like to know what time it is, and since my Pioneer Avic D2 radio does not easily display it on the radio face, the A-pillar pod is a convienient place to install a clock.

Meh, thats relative. I QUCKLY grew tired of gauges in my car. After about a year I took them all down. Swapped out my wideband o2 gauge with a standalone handheld wideband unit and couldnt be happier.

In a truck if I had the option to ONLY run the programmer gauges, thats the route I would take for sure. I see so many people with 3 gauge a-pillar pods that have 1 useful gauge in it and the rest are money wasting filler gauges like volts and time. My personal favorite is the people who get narrowband o2 gauges; those are about as useful as toilet paper in a pool.

Free shipping, genuine Roush part. Can't beat it. And like others are saying, if you arent gonna load it up w/ useful gauges, then you're just tryin to look cool for tuners. lol. Just MHO though, what do I know

A "time" guage (as in a simple analog clock) is not "money wasted" filler guages. Because I removed the factory radio and installed a unit with GPS, I lost the "easy to read/access" clock. I like to know what time it is at a glance, so I installed a simple analog clock into one of the two guage pods. The other houses an engine oil temp gauge, so I can monitor the engine oil temps (I also installed a engine oil cooler). I do a lot of long distance driving; often averaging 12 to 18 hour non stop runs with my F150.

I like to know what time it is. Hate the cell phone (stays off when I'm driving).
