Default FX4 side mirrors

I have a 2004 F150, the side mirrors have the inside market led signal lights. I found a set of mirrors with the inner and outer side markers as well as puddle lights. I was contemplating adding them to my truck. The site says they are compatible with my year and model. I haven't ripped off the current ones to see if the plugs matched. I know the inner and outer turns are wired off each other, but was curious if the puddles would be wired and just needed mirriors with them. Anyone ever updated to a set with all three lights?

I don't believe 2004-2008 F150's had puddle lights. My 2004 Lariat doesn't. You will need to wire the puddle light into the door switch
for them to work as there is no wire pinned in the harness for the puddle lights.

As per my prior post, I put 09 king ranch mirrors, that have puddle lights, on my 2008 XL truck. The puddle light function just fine and it was simply plug and play with existing/stick harness/plug.

If there are difference on/for other years (04-07) I do not know.

I'm going to give it a try on my 2004. I'm more wanting the front facing turns, if the puddles work, added bonus.

If you currently don't have puddle lights, the puddle lights won't work. I know this first hand.

The front-facing turn signals will work.
