Default Fuse #14 keeps blowing

I have a 2006 Lincoln Mark LT/Ford F150 5.4l and I had the spark plugs and coils changed. Suddenly fuse 14 will not quit blowing and it has the Back-up lamp and Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) relay coil, A/C pressure switch, Redundant speed control switch, trailer tow back-up lamps relay coil. ABS, Reverse park aid, EC Mirror. I did not list PCV heater because my model does not have external PCV. I have changed all bulbs, all bulb harnesses are good, but as soon as you drive vehicle again the fuse blows. Relay 201 is good also. Need any help if someone has or knows how to fix this problem.

I live in florida when it got below 35 overnight it blew that same fuse in the morning during start . . The pvc heater is located on driver side of throttle body to keep that orifice from freezing, unplug it re-fuse , I haven't replaced heater yet maybe just leave it . Its a common problem .

My model 2006 does not have the PCV heater such as you are mentioning. Mine is an internal build and is not even listed as a part that can be replaced from all the parts stores and verified that online.

You are correct in that there isn't a replaceable PCV but, there is a PCV heater that is serviceable/replaceable.

Yours is probably shorting out when activating, thus blowing the fuse.

Had the same problem in my '06 when it hit -30° this past winter.

Either unplug it, like @redfishtd suggested, or attempt to find the short and repair, which is what I ended up doing.

There is no such thing as a "diode fuse". There are diodes and there are fuses but ne'er the twain have met.

Still no luck and I still have the ABS light and Brake light on the dashboard panel and have no cruise control, no backup lights, no air conditioner, etc. you know the other items on fuse #14 that keeps blowing. Is it possible that you can send me a pic of where this darn Pcv heater plug is located so I can see if that makes a difference. I have googled everything for cob heater plug and it just keeps returning pcv valve information. We both know the pcv valve is internal on my truck but cannot find the pcv heater plug. Don’t even know what I’m looking for. Thanks ahead

ill try to get a pic later. With truck off and battery disconnected, find driver side pcv tube. Then focus on the cab/firewall end of iit. Look for wires going towards that direction/end of pcv, remove/lift up that end of pcv. You should see a wire connector plug there that you can disconnect. Replace fuse, Reconnect battery, start truck and check dash lights, etc.

Hope this works for you.
