They ended up getting to it yesterday, it was the fuel pump, i surely thought it was still good because i never got any readings on my volt meter, or maybe im too stupid to be trying to diagnose problems with one lol.
They want $805 for parts and labor, i think they stuck it to me because i had it hauled up there. I had a 08 f150 work truck i took up there and they charged like 450 to do the pump. could this be because mine is a 4 door? i know you cant just pull the bed on the 4 doors to get to the pump so they will have to drop the tank on this one.

Thanks for all the help by the way!

How full was the tank? They may have had to drain it first (safety requirements?), and at roughly 90 bucks an hour, labor alone can add up.

It had a quarter tank.
This is true, they charge 75 a hour
Im definently not complaining because i want to be able to drive my personal truck and not my work truck, 805 just seemed steep. i know they had to drain it on the truck i took up there before because i usually keep my work truck with a full tank as much as possible

When you get the bill, it will have the labor/parts used broken down for you to see how cheap our labor can be the next time we decide to do it ourself!

On a better note, the dogs going to be happy riding again!
