No notification at all of the error code being thrown. Just did a random code scan and found the error about 2 weeks before it went to *****.

nice sounds like the problem when it was going bad was it effecting your fuel economy?

Codes in the 1230's send you there if it quits. If it misses and cuts out a lot rule #1 is take it off and test it for damage.
