Default Fuel pump

I have a 2005 f150 and was coming home tonight and the truck cut off. All the electrical was working. I tried to restart the truck and it just turns over and will start and have a rough idle for about 30 seconds and then die again and not start. Was wondering g if it is the fuel pump or something else I could check? Thanks for the help

Fuel pump driver module. Drop your spare, and there is a black box with wires going to it. Pull it off, the backside.probably has a hole in it.

Thanks for the reply I was hoping that might be the problem. Is there any way to tell if that is what is going on?

Yeah, pull it off and look at it. There is probably a hole in it and moisture gets inside and shorts it out. Did you not see powerranger262's post?

Yep, my truck cut out on the highway last week, pulled the FPDM and it had a hole and crack in it.

This is one of the only times I would trust the Dorman brand as many have had great results with it. 99/100 times its Motorcraft for me. Except for brakes and shocks.
