Default Front Shock/Spring Assy - Many methods to replace - the best?

I have broken coil springs on both sides in front, and have a new set of Monroe replacement assemblies. I have looked at many different videos and service manuals for methods to replace the strut, and there are multiple ways.

I will be doing this in my driveway, do have an air impact gun.

Obviously, looking for the simplest way with least disassembly.

What has worked best for all of you who have done this?

I see some methods where the axle is removed and full disassembly of front suspension, and knuckle separated, others just disconnect tie rod end and carefully extract.

Wanting to see that aspect

Disconnect knuckle, un-do bottom bolt and top 3 bolts.. remove. keep the floor jack under the lower control arm and lower it for removal.. of course your truck will be on stands. should be a youtube video showing this method .. no need for complete disassemble.

Default Make sure you place lower control arm at ride height before torquing down big nut

That saves the rubber bushing from tearing . It has a high torque value be ready with a cheater pipe . measure any rods you undo so they go back exactly the same length. Repair all steering parts then get realigned .
