I use my 4x4 all last year no problems. Shifted it into 4x4 the other day and heard a loud poping/cracracking sound in the left side it only happens when u turn hard to the left. turn to right you dont hear it and its only in 4x4 goes away in 2wd. Was told by a garage that my wheel bearing was gone on the drivers side

 

have you replaced the iwe solenoid yet?

 

No nothing replaced 120000

 

I read on another forum and the guy explained exactly what i was hearing that part should be a recall by ford that shouldnt go that quick. Thanks you saved me a lot of money at a garage. ill replace this one myself
