I am looking for a new toolbox for my FX4 flareside. Just wondering if anyone knows any places where I can get a deal on one that will fit. The problem is toolboxes for fullsuze trucks are about an inch to big and ones for smaller trucks are too short. I've found some that will fit but are kind of pricey. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas, thanks

 

craigslist, home depot, lowes, junkyards, tractor supply....anywhere that sells truck parts.

 

Haven't found anywhere in store or online selling new ones that don't have an option for somewhere in the $260-$280 range. If that's higher than you're looking to spend, you could always go with a big tough box or something like that.. plastic is WAY cheaper than aluminum. Or craigslist and junk yards work too.

 

Google.........You probably will have to pay a few more bucks because it is a flare side, not as common.

What are the dimensions of your bed? I've been trying to sell a toolbox for about a year now, came out of a Chevy Colorado. It's one if those weird sizes like you need that only fits that truck.

 

The inside of the box measures about 59 1/2, and tool boxes for a fullsize truck measure just over 60. The outside measures about 65 I believe.

 

You could always go with a smaller chest toolbox
