Default Front driver side "creak"

Greetings,

I have a 06 F150 extended cab XLT (5.4 4x4). My front drivers side has developed a creak in the last week or two. The creak is timed to the vehicles speed, and only audible when the vehicle is "warm" and the breaks are applied. I have not been able to separate brakes being warm and engine being warm. The audible sound is similar to a bad mattress... I'll leave it at that.

Obviously my first thought was warped rotors but I'm not receiving any feedback from the brakes or steering wheel, and the problem only exists after a little bit of driving.

I was wondering if this sounds like any problems this forum may be aware of.

Thank you in advance

Thanks for the response. Coil spring is good, and the vehicle does not make the sound going over bumps or when i stand on the tow hook and bounce it up and down. The sound is only when breaking. I THINK i can hear it when the break is released, which makes me think its a caliper issue, but that could be my mind playing tricks on me. I will probably pull the wheel on Sunday and see if theres any visual indication, and maybe clean up the rotors.

Anyone else got any ideas? This has got me stumped.

I should specify i think i hear it a bit the moment the brake releases, as in the caliper sliding.

this sounds like something that was happening on my truck and i ended up having a bad wheel bearing, as soon as i got a new one the noise was completely gone
