hey guys so saturday i shattered my front diff in my 04 xlt 5.4 with axle code b6 373 gear Ls i called around found i junkyard that has them but the need to know if have a vaccum disconnect? i have no clue what that is. if someone could explain to me what it is or what it looks like and does the front have a ls or is it just open thanks guys

 

There is no ls in your front dif.

Plus, the vacuum disconnect on our trucks is at the hub (IWE), not the diff.

 

and what do you mean shattered? blew the ring and pinion up? blew a shaft? spider gears???
