i have a 05 xlt chrome bumper w/o fog lights but i want the bumper with the round fog lights (think from 07?) and harley style lower valance (complete front end blacked out)....besides the fog light/ bracket, bumper, and lower valance is it a direct bolt on or even fit right up?

 

Yes I have an 08 lariat with an 05's bumper (rectangular lights) as they project more.

 

They do project more but also the design was changed as they trap moisture much easier into the lens.

 

How hard was it to get the 04 with square on the 08? I want the sware ones on mine they look way better

 

my future father in law has the square and he says the bulbs "pop" after a week because of water/moisture getting into them....i like how the round ones look anyways myself...id hate to buy a bumper and then it not fit

 

The mounting brackets to the frame are different it took abit of jiggling and extra hands to get it done but it was done.

Took about... 4 hours? But thats stopping for beers, munchies etc lol




And maybe water does get abit on the outer lense, BUT that is an easy fix and mine are tinted with film. Never had anythin pop.

EDIT:

Mine came off an Fx4 to a lariat though, so it was harder to wiggle in as the fx4 has some reinforced steel behind the bumper
