Default Front bumper compatibility

Involved in a minor accident the other day and am needing a new front bumper, lower valance, bumper brackets and possibly a front upper bumper cover. I've been looking into parts and originally have a standard chrome no foglight bumper 2004, other than style differences are there any reasons that for example you couldn't put on a 2007-2008 bumper and other parts onto the 2004? Would they bolt on?

I’ve asked this same question and was told no.

They’ll require different mourning brackets too. I think there was something else else well but it’s been a long time. The plastic upper bumper pad would have to be from the same year too. For ease, 04-05/early 06 will be a direct fit. Same for the rear bumper.

Another question as I look more into parts: Is there a difference in bumpers with or without fender flares? I've found some listings the have a with flare note on the description. And running it without fog lights

Here's what I'm currently looking at: https://www.ebay.com/itm/18498700450...Bk9SR6y8t6ieYQ

The upper bumper pad will have holes drilled into it to accept the fender flare. If you don’t have flares, you want to order one without.

Itll look weird if you don’t add fog lights. If you don’t plan to add them, you want the bumper without fog openings.

This is the look I'm going for bumper wise....it already has black headlights...I'll add fog lights if it bugs me once it's installed they're about 150-200 for all the stuff ie; lights, brackets, wiring, switch, ect

I wonder if the person who owns that truck can see anything at night? Those are some dark headlights!

Got the new bumper painted and installed. Have one more issue. Passenger headlight not working. Found blown fuses 23 and 35 (right hand driving light and high beam fuses) replaced fuses and immediately blew 23. Since it was hit in the right front I'm assuming a wire on the harness got cut broke and is running to ground? Does this sound right or at least looking in the right direction? Switched bulbs side to side and both work on the drivers side.
