Front brakes seizing - composite pistons
2005 super crew 5.4 L lariat at 60k replaced all rotors and pads . everything fine for 20k then front right seized and got hot . Inspected them and cleaned them up , excessive dust from oem pads clogging track that pads move in , re-lubed track . 5k later left front seized in the mountains of NC . Changed to ceramic pads and cleaned tracks . Way less dust and better braking. Still seized again . Found out that composite pistons in calipers tend to absorb moisture when they move out during normal use and when they return to position before brake pad change out they don't like to retract.
Replaced both calipers- no further problems .
Don't change out pads early . Unless you are prepared to change calipers.
Hope this saves someone a lot of grief .

I think you had another problem...did you ever change out your brake fluid ?? I swapped my pads on all 3 of my F-150's and never had a caliper problem... You may of had moisture in your brake fulid which helped your caliper seiz up.
