Default FORScan on a 2004?

Ok, so I have seen alot of posts about people changing alot of things on their newer f150s...I don't know if I am just missing a thread on this for older f150s or what... What can be done to an older one? I have a 2004 Lariat with the 5.4... I don't need a FULL tune... I saw one guy say he can change his tire size to re-calibrate his speedo...

I'm not entirely sure what you can change with forscan, I'm afraid to screw anything up haha. But I know forscan is great for reading codes especially ones like airbag modules I've used it on a 2004 and 2006 for that. I'd like to mess around with it too, just as long as I know I won't mess anything up

From what I read... you can download the manufacturer settings and load them back to your truck... I'm just looking for what can be changed on my truck by the FORScan...

Nothing in our truck, as far as I know, is FORScan changeable with the exception of PATS. But I could be wrong.

Actually I have a questions about this...
So I have a 2004 Supercrew that we're installing a motor, but it's been sitting for 3 years, so I wanna get the fuel out (1/4 tank).
I can't jump any fuel relays in the box, I tried looking, and I know the FPDM controls the pump anyways.

Question, can I use forscan to turn on the pump temporarily. If so how?

Im also wondering if anything on this generation truck can be changed (2006 for example).

Quite unfortunate if only PATS key programming is affected.

Ok, so I contacted Forscan directly on this... here is what they said...

What is able to be adjusted or changed on my vehicle?

Hello,
Not much, comparing with F-150 of the last generation (from 2011). FORScan will work with modules such as PCM, ABS, IC, 4x4, RCM (Airbag), PAM (if available). FORScan will be unable to connect to Vehicle Security Module (VSM), Climate -control (EATC) and Driver's Seat Module (DSM) because they are located on UBP bus that is not supported by any ELM327-compatible adapter. As for functions, in addition to standard set (read/reset DTC, read PID, output control and tests), you should be able to program PATS, do some reset and configure some of modules (most likely IC only). List of options should be identical to IDS (minus UBP modules, also FORScan doesn't program and configure PCM).

Regards,
FORScan Team

So looks like not much can be changed on them right now... however they did tell me this..... I asked them about adjusting tire size...

Hello,

Tire size for 2004 F-150 is programmed in PCM. FORScan is unable to program/configure PCM yet, but will do in next releases.

Next release will coming soon, but this feature will not be in there. It will be added in one of next releases, have no exact shedule yet, sorry.

Regards,
FORScan Team

There you have it.... straight from the horses mouth...
