Because forscan can't get into the body security module I don't think you can get the code any other way unless you pull the seat. Once you undo once latch you'll get it. They are a pain though

I was also looking to get the factory entrance code, I heard that there is a sticker on the kickpanel area but cant find it. So im not sure what the "seat" comment would mean?

I have no idea..... I took mine to the dealer and he told me it was going to be $214 to plug it in and give me the code... after a few expletives he told me that it was under the glove box... I couldn't find it... I haven't tried the back seat deal yet... but there is no way in you know where that I am going to pay $214 for him to plug in my truck for 2 mins...

Read and watch for how to find your factory key entrance code.

in the 2004-2008 its behind the rear seat I believe.

In my 2003 Sport trac it was behind the glove box.

And I tried so many times in my old beast but I could never get that damn seat to pop off.

The seat comment is because in our generation of F150 it's behind the rear seat (in the SCREW, unsure about others).

In the 08 Edge it's in the driver's side kick panel area. Ford just likes keeping us guessing.

If you want to get a programmer and custom tunes for your motor go here.....

https://store.gopowerhungry.com/en/

I had a Gryphon CTS w/ 2 custom tunes on my 2005 Expedition before it got totaled and it was a blast to drive and tow with. They've discontinued working with the CTS's but you can get the Gryphon, mounting pod and I think 3 tunes for under $750...Bill is a super guy and really knows his stuff when it comes to tuning. I had them unlock the CTS when I got my F150 and am just using the canned tunes that were on it until I can pull the trigger on a new one....

Pulled the rear seat yesterday... I can confirm that the code for a 2004 Super Crew is behind the seat on the drivers side... took about 15 mins to get it and put the truck back together!

Default Has the update to set wheel size been released for the 2008 F150?

What is able to be adjusted or changed on my vehicle?

Hello,
Not much, comparing with F-150 of the last generation (from 2011). FORScan will work with modules such as PCM, ABS, IC, 4x4, RCM (Airbag), PAM (if available). FORScan will be unable to connect to Vehicle Security Module (VSM), Climate -control (EATC) and Driver's Seat Module (DSM) because they are located on UBP bus that is not supported by any ELM327-compatible adapter. As for functions, in addition to standard set (read/reset DTC, read PID, output control and tests), you should be able to program PATS, do some reset and configure some of modules (most likely IC only). List of options should be identical to IDS (minus UBP modules, also FORScan doesn't program and configure PCM).

Regards,
FORScan Team

So looks like not much can be changed on them right now... however they did tell me this..... I asked them about adjusting tire size...

Hello,

Tire size for 2004 F-150 is programmed in PCM. FORScan is unable to program/configure PCM yet, but will do in next releases.

Next release will coming soon, but this feature will not be in there. It will be added in one of next releases, have no exact shedule yet, sorry.

Regards,
FORScan Team

There you have it.... straight from the horses mouth...

Is there a spreadsheet for 2008 F150 tire size? Specially, what is the setting for a 35” tire with a 3.55:1 differential?
