Default Ford Tailgate Logo

Looking for a source for a new Ford oval logo for my tailgate. 2007 Lariat. The blue on the old logo has delaminated and it's really ugly. You would think that Ford would have made sure that the logo would last as long as truck, but I guess they didn't think about that.

Right I'm looking for the same thing on my 2004. I know Amazon/ebay has new ones and ebay has some stickers you can put over them.
But you probably already know this. I painted over my front one and it looks pretty good.

Strange how some fade after about 6 to 8 years (possibly earlier), and some don't. I have a buddy who has a 2005, and his front emblem is still perfect. My 2007 front emblem on the otherhand, faided out after about 6 years, and I replaced it with another Ford OEM part. About two years old now, and still looking like new.
I just removed the rear tailgate emblem and installed a lighted one. I'll keep the reat factory emblem though, in case I ever have to, or want to re-install it, as it is still in like new condition.

Well, that's too easy. Spent a huge amount of time trying to find it on this forum! Now just need a removal video and I'm all set.

It has two sided tape for it to stick to the tailgate, along with three pins that align it to the body. Simply use a plastic piece (I have several of those plastic body putty spreaders) and push it between the emblem and body. It will break the adhesion of the tape, and allow you to pull it off.

My faded a few years back. I simply took it off and hit it with a few coats of black spray paint.
