Default Ford Negativity Problems

Im am a new member but have been viewing this forum for quite some time now. I have owned ford trucks for several years now along with Chevrolet, and Nissan. I currently own a 2007 Super Crew which i think is a great truck. My question is that I have been searching this forum and most of the posts that I see are nothing but relating to problems. I didnt realize that this many people had problems with ford products.

Welcome to the site!

On most forums you will see many problems with trucks and that is why most people come to forums for advice on how to fix them.

Out of the 3 bazillion Ford trucks sold in the US there are only 2200 Members on here. About 2/3 of them came here because of a problem. Thats a pretty low average in the large scheme of things. Something else to consider. Alot of the ppl that come on here have older trucks. They are bound to have issues.

Agreed with the above. The F150 is a great truck and that has been proven year after year. I'm sure if you went on a Chevy, Nissan, or Toyota forum then I'm sure you would find that they would have just as many problems if not more. I would have mentioned a Dodge but that is a rolling piece of junk.

Besides, the posts would just be overwhelming if everyone posted just to say, "my truck ran great today". :-)~

Overall, after the 15 years owned and 150,000+ miles that I've personally put on, I am quite happy with it, and its reliability is one of the reasons I'm not in any hurry to upgrade.

Not to say it hasn't had any problems - it did leave me stranded ONCE, and had a few gasket / seal problems early on, but I can't recall anything much more than routine maintenance or minor hose failures (it is 18yrs old!) over the last couple years.
