Default Ford logo tail gate camera install ?

I bought a logo type tail gate back up camera. I removed the Ford logo over from the base plastic, but cannot find a way to remove the base plastic that is mounted to the tailgate. Has anyone installed this type of camera or does anyone have any tips.

Its stuck on with a 3M type tape. You could've removed it all as one piece.

I'll post back probably Thursday after work on this.
I used fishing line to saw through the back of the black plastic base double sided tape.
I ran the wire harness last night up the frame rail along the drivers side wire harness, and landed the wires in at the stereo - just need to tie in the wires to power and back up signal.

The camera is used seems kind of a grainy looking picture, but it works good. Pictures from my droid phone kind of suck. Looks better in person.

I did through camera source last year. Love mine. You have to clearance a bit so Definitely use anti rust coating to prevent issues. Works excellent with my Alpine HU.
