Forced induction vs stroker
New shelbys are getting a 5.8 liter and the same supercharger as the zr1 corvette. Claiming in 650 hp. So I would make an assumption that ford will put the 5.8 in the 2013 f150s possibly? Sorry I'm a mustang addict lol
... I don't think he was picking on anyone just using blown ford as an example since he seems to have the most posts about go fast parts of anyone here- therefore being the most well known reference.

And there are rumors of an 800hp version. Either one may make me want to part with the truck lol.

Blown out of the box gut wrenching torque then gut wrenching bang. Twin Turbo's best to keep RPM's up or some lag no matter what you engineer or you drop way off fast at upper end. Low altitude performance at low rpm's, blown, High altitude performanc Turbo, High RPM performance Turbo. Gut wrenching torque Blown, Gut wrenching bang blown. Blown requires high degree of precision as parts are mechanical. Turbo requires high degree of engineering for the right application. Stroked been done, been given up on. A waste of money.

Nah things embarassingly go bang because of the gut wrenching torque. I gotta have me one of em pro performance things.
