Default Does this look cheesy?

This is for sale on eBay. I like it but can't decide if it looks a little cheesy. Please give your opinion.

When I first got my truck I was sure to get one of these but listening to others opinions about it I decided against it. Kinda like those stick on tear drop vent/emblem things from AutoZone.

yes it looks like someone is trying to make their f-150 into a rice burner with all those stick on plastic fake garbage chrome crap. looks like a broke drug dealers car with the fake fender vent holes lol.

Not gonna go THAT detailed... but yes, it looks Auto Zone-ish.

That's what I figured. What about updating the emblems to new ones 2009 and up? How difficult would that be?

It's your truck, as long as you like it that's all that matters... Nobody else here pays for your truck or your mods. I say it doesn't look bad at all, but then again I'm ghetto and tacky LOL! The 09 badges look good too...

If it wasn't for the holes behind the badges I would get rid of mine!

The updated badges look much better than any other way you could think of going.

I got those and painted them to match the truck a little better to reduce the "rice-burner"ness

lol, at least your honest.

I'm not opposed to badges, in fact I'm thinking about finding some retro-style Ford V8 badges to go on my truck, but I don't want the cheap stick-on kind. I just think that vents and portholes should be functional, otherwise they're just ricer-gear

Although, Firefighter433's look nice. Do you have plans to do the lettering in red, like you did the grill? That would really set it off, I think.
