Default Fog Lights

2008 F150 vs. 2009-2014 - Are the fog lights the same? Same housing size? Same pigtail connector?

06-10 are the same, 11-14 have a different mounting tab on the buckets.

Are you saying the buckets bolt to the bumper differently or the housings bolt to the buckets different? If the housings, I'm not seeing it, looks damn similar to me. I'm sure you're right though, otherwise why would there be different part #s lol

Reason I ask, I found some LED fogs on Amazon, but they're listed as 09-14:

You can just install a LED bulb in what you have now.. that's what I did. You don't need new housings, unless you have a damaged one.

That won't scatter the light too much in the reflector housing? I want to use them on the street. The old listing on amazon was for 06-10s and they had a nice sharp cut off.

No it wont scatter and gives better light than what you linked to. I know, I had those in my truck. I now have 9005 LED bulbs and they are amazing and no scatter. I have these:

9140 is 40 watt, 9145 is 45 watt, 9005 is 65 watt, H10 is the same as 9140 wattage wise. They all have the same base, a PY20D. When it comes to LED replacements, wattage is not a factor.
