That's pretty much what I was thinking.

Use either plug end, it deos not matter which. As noted they both converage back to a single wire harness.

You can think of wiring a lot like plumbing. You have a single pipe carrying water that splits into two pipes, both with faucets on the ends. You can use either without affecting the other in this case. You are just limited to how much water (or in your case electricity) you can get from the pipe (wire).

Just tuck the unused end into a secure place adn zip tie it in place so it is not dangling down.

My only concern/question now is, I know that the led light bars come in spot, flood and combo. Being that I am going to hook it to the factory fog light switch should this be of concern? Should I get just a spot or flood as apposed to the combo?

To use both features, you will probably need to add a 3 way switch inline before the factory switch in the cab for the combo light.. But it will basically defeat the purpose of using the factory switch, and bring wiring work into the cab, as opposed to just cutting the leads off at the bumper and splicing it in..

Id say get the spot light since flood may blind other drivers..

The cool part if wiring at the fogs is when you use your high beams, the fogs will shut off.. This makes your high beaming very noticeable when you flick them on and off rapidly..

I'm running 9005 bulbs in my fogs, so I basically have 4 headlights on when my fogs are on.. Its very bright.. The added current draw at the fogs however was causing excessive heat. So I wired in heavy duty 9005 bulb harnesses to deal with the heat..

Just noticed this again, if you haven't already gone through with it, i'd look at the connection for the light bar itself. If it has multiple power leads for each function (spot, flood/spot, flood), you could run power to one of the functions to the fog lights which would give your factory headlight switch over that, but run separate powers to the other functions to an installed switch inside for the other light bar options you will not use as often. Make sense?
