I'm wanting to add oem fog light to my truck but I don't know which kind. I see some round fog light and some that are rectangular. I was wondering if there was a year they changed over or if maybe certain trim levels had different ones?

 

Just wait a while I will be selling mine once I get a new bumper

 

04-05 have rectangular foglights and 06-08 have round foglights.

 

The 04-05 have the rectangular fog lights and the 06-08 have the round ones. The trims just decided whether it was an option or if it was standard.

What do 97-03 have?

Thanks guys. I should have known this but I never really thought about it until I decided to add some fog lights to my truck yesterday.

 

No problem, that's why we're here to help. Hope it all goes well with your foglight project. I think the factory wiring harness should already be there, not so sure about the switch though.
