I am having a memory problem. Do the interior lights come on when either the remote start or luck/unlock on a 2006 SC?

 

When I press the FOB on my '06 F150 flareside xlt the headlights, rear running lights and interior lights come on.

 

Thank you for the reply. Now I need to track down why the interior lights do not come on when the FOB is pressed. All the other lights you mentioned, with the exception of the cargo light do come on. This sounds like it will be a big problem.

check the switch position on your dome light. make sure your dimmer is not all the way rolled down too.

 

Thanks. I will check that. My son uses the truck sometimes and he may have turned down the dash lights.

 

The dash dimmer switch is not turned off. Any suggestions where to start? The outside lights do blink when the FOB is used.

 

Does the dome light come on when the doors are opened? And can you turn it on manually, the map light? What about the vanity lights on the sun visors?

I would check the fuse box diagram for fuse #24 and if that's in order then check the battery saver relay (r304) by swapping it with another relay. (Maybe r301).

 

Thanks for the reply. The model is a plain XTR with no "advanced" options. It does have the rail system.
The interior lights do come on when the door(s) are opened. I will check the items you suggest.

 

I do not have any of the R30x relays in the fuse box. They are not listed any where. Another suggestion?
