Royal purple is a great fluid but it is very expensive. Motorcraft is also good.

Motorcraft... On the diff look for a clutch pack on the right side of the carrier or an L on the left tag, if you do its a trac lok diff and needs the friction modifier or bad things will happen.

We use nothing but Valvoline in our shop and have had great results. I did my truck with Maxlife Trans Fluid and have been very impressed. I even flushed the power steering with sythetic Valvoline fluid and its incredidble how much the steering has improved. But im still a Castrol man for oil. I think as long as you dont go cheapy Wal-Mart brand youll be alright.

Royal Purple is probably the best. I use Mobil 1 as its very easy to find and competitive in the realm of pricing. You can can't go wrong with any of the top three listed; RP, M1 or MC. To each thier own.......

AMSOIL, its more fuel efficient.

FIELD STUDY RESEARCH (NO WEAR, NO WHERE!)

New AMSOIL field study “white paper”:

“Fleet Fuel Economy Study with Ford Motor Company.” Yes, you are reading the title correctly. The study was done with Ford and shows a 6.54% increased fuel economy in short- to medium-haul trucking applications. Consider the savings of approximately $195,000 per year for a fleet of 100 vehicles!
