FlowMaster Turn downs
simple unless made complicated! you could search various sites which sale bolt on exhaust and see if any offer with turn downs, or just simply have an exhaust shop take care of it, hell you could even purchase the muffler cheap online and just pay to have it welded.
Yea im looking for a muffler.. Would the shop have the pipes or would i have to buy them online also?
One more question do you guys think I should get a dual or single outlet if I'm just gonna turn down I want more deeper powerful sound. And also could they just chop up my stock exhaust and make the turn down from it? Sorry for so many questions just new to trucks

Id go with dual out, the guy here in my town at the exhaust shop said it would be better and louder so I went with it. Also on the turndown pipes and muffler location, he just pretty much cut off the stock, added a little bit of pipe and made the turndowns his self. This was on my silverado
When you buy the mufflers from a muffler shop, just tell them to dump the pipes. All they do is cut your old mufflers off, weld the Flowmasters on, and go out about 8 inches from there and have the pipe angled down. It works well on mustangs because they only sit about a foot off the ground. It will not have the same impact on a truck because they sit higher. If your doing this for the sound then you should just save up your money and get a whole new exhaust system.
Dumping your exhaust works like a subwoofer behind your seat. The more the sound bounces around the deeper the sound. Which is why on all the mustangs I ever owned the exhaust was dumped. It comes out of the pipes and bounces off the ground back up to the car several times. Hope that explains it good enough.
