Default Flowmaster or Magnaflow?

I'm going to put on some dual exhaust and need to know which you think is better. I don't want my truck to be so loud it's annoying to drive like a lot of truck i hear. i want a nice rumble and when i floor it i want it to be loud. i added the k&n cai which made my truck a little bit louder. the guy at the muffler shop said for $250 out the door i can pick between flowmaster and magnaflow. i'm kind of leaning towards the magnaflow since he told me it's not as loud as the flowmaster and has a nice rumble to it. also is $250 pretty good price for installation, parts, and manufacturer? thanks for any advice.

$250 sounds pretty good to me to. I wouldnt get magnaflow because I really like to hear my exhaust IMO. I have the flowmaster super 44 if you want to take a listen. Hope this helps.

Imo magnaflow is way too quiet at idle and take off...they sound good at WOT and hard acceleration but not near as good as a super 44 or any 40 series.

What size muffler is the magnaflow? I have the 18" and I cant hear it while cruising, I do hear it if I floor it though. Its perfect for me. Check my link in the sig

Mine is near silent at idle, but very nice under normal accel and i only have the 18". The 14" would be louder.
