So honest comparison between the two I wanna do a single in dual out with turndowns, I'm trying to decide between the 40series and the super 44 what are yalls opinion and comparison between the two

I have a super 44 and I love the sound, I get alot of complements on how nice is sounds. Nice and deep

So it's not overly loud but still gives a good tone to it, Is it aggressive once you get on it and do you knotice any popping once the trucks at operating temp

I've for 40 (single in and dual out w/ turndowns dumped right in front of the axle) on a 4.6 and It's exactly the same. Sounds deep, resonates well but isn't overwhelming, and I get complements on the sound all the time. I'd youtube it and see if you can detect a favorable difference between the two...

Want to add, no popping at normal temps. Almost never pops even when cold.

Popping? Are you talking about after hitting the gas hard? That's just excess fuel burning off in the cats

Yeah true I just want something that has a good tone but not overly loud, Something I can live with btw my trucks the 5.4 I just wanted some personal opinions I've heard them on YouTube and right now leaning towards the super 44

I have the american thunder which is the 40 series dual out. Its not loud to me. Nothing is going to be super loud with 4 cats.

That's true And I'm not cutting them off, is there really any difference between the 40 and the 44

I don't think there is a major difference. They both have that flowmaster sound.
