Default flowmaster 40s or 44s?

I basically want whichever one will make my truck louder but keep a good tone I'm going to be running a single pipe that comes out in front of my rear passenger tire

Hi, I have had both on my '94 Mustang GT & think the Super44 sounds louder & better. I would go with a 3" tailpipe (or what looks good) for best sound. I had a 3" tail pipe with a high flow cat & super44 on my old Dakota V8 & it was louder than my stang.

I've got true duals with 40's and it sounds great, but not as loud as I would like.

In my opininon if you want a good loud rumble just delete the muffler. Leave the cats alone though. I had a flowmaster 40 and then a 10 and now its straight piped and sounds the best. Its not ridicuously loud and there's no drone inside the cab.
