They do have them I have the kit in my truck ha. Call Alex he is the owner very nice guy. After the first 200 gasoline has paraffins in it as a detergent that causes a waxy build up in your tank and the alcohol will clean your tank and injectors

He knocked 100 off because I work on the industry and the plant payed for half of it. Took me 30 min to install with my big gorilla hands. 87 octane is 3.25 right now e85 is 2.45.
Our plant is working on installing a public pump and selling it for around 1.89 a gallon. The kits are stackable meaning you can add an edge programmer to the kit with no problems. Have your dad order it though and he should get the discount if you talk to the owner. I went from 12 mpg to 10 with a level after installing the kit. No other problems other than missing race season because of the smell(-: just change your fuel filter after 200 miles. 208-288-0320 Alex conger

What's is even included in the flex fuel kit?

Only thing that's needed really is to make sure your fuel system is safe for E85, after that you need to make sure your fuel pump and injectors are big enough to flow what's needed to run it. E85 takes about 40% more flow that Non Ethanol fuels to make up for the stoich factor of the fuel. And then a tune to adjust injectors, A/F and timing.

I don't have a clue, this is the first time I'm hearing of a E85 conversion "kit".

At about a 17-18% in gas cost, you're going to give most of that up in mileage. Close to a wash and the power drop is going to be noticeable.

Power drop? E85 is like 106 octane iirc, with a tune that increases timing to "use" the 106 you will gain power. A lot of guys are converting from race fuel to E85 and making more power.

the kit takes care of all the tuning issues. Your fuel system is a poly rubber that isn't effected by the alcohol they switched over to the new rubber in the early 2000s because it also doesn't dry rot. Our non flex fuel trucks have the exact same everything as the flex fuel trucks don't except they aren't factory tuned to run e85 properly
