DTC = Diagnostic Trouble Code

 

When the Check Engine Light comes on it sets a DTC in the computer... this code will tell you where to start looking for the problem.

I just experienced this issue after hitting a large body of water on the highway. The thing is that the only code it's giving me is P0330 knock sensor malfunction. As I already own a box of COPs I'm going to try that first. If it come to plug replacement I take it to the mechanic.

 

here in Texas some cities have emissions and some don't, Dallas-Fort Worth requires it but not San Antonio.

 

Looked at this thread and saw you guys said to call Ford service so I did and the guy told me to park the truck and have it towed. He said if the lights blinking for the check engine then I should Parkette immediately. Is this true? Nowhere on this thread does anybody say to park their truck immediately. I don’t know anything about this **** but I have an 04 F150 5.4 and I run my own business I can’t work if I can’t drive to the jobs. I need this to be fixed and over with I’ve thrown so much money into this truck. Do you guys think I can still drive it? And obviously I will change coils and plugs I have already changed the fuel pump module
