Just my two cents

don't forget to factor in the cost of getting it to Iowa from where ever. Madison WI has expensive trucks. I was looking at screws and they were a lot more than that locally between 20,000 and 40,000 miles starting about 22k

Yeah but I mean the truck I mentioned is 4 grand less and a MUCH nicer truck...it might cost you 750 bucks to fly down and pick it up and drive it back but wouldn't that be worth it?

Yeah that 06 Lariat for 12,900 would be a much better buy. I starte dsearching some down (TX, FL, GA) there but had to get some things done here at work overall to me it looks like they are priced at 1-2 less than up here but thats just quick glance. I'd like to see this lariat

Gas was down to under two dollars here for a while so I'm sure it drove pickup prices up. Gas here now is $2.39

Funny now that I've been looking for a month you see the trucks that have been sitting on the lot that the dealers paid 18K for and can't move them now for the 21 they had hoped. Seems to be a lot of bottom line sales or whatever they call them.
