Default Finally!!!

i finally got my friggin truck back! damn how i missed it! although compared to the lil focus i drive, the car that got half a tank wit 10 bucks and a ride that could make u fall asleep, i couldnt be happier to have my v8 back under me! thank god for warranty too! $50 deductable and i was out of the lot! it woulda cost me $2464.72 without the warranty. now i can put in my weathertech floor liners and my LED smoke 3rd brake light! i feel reborn!

Dang $2500?? That's exactly what it cost me for a fully rebuilt tranny for my Grand Prix.

Oh and for all you GM lovers the Grand Prix is made by Pontiac which is owned by GM. I had nothing but trouble from it.

Hmmm. Do you have a sound clip of these mufflers?? I still can't make up my mind on which exhaust to go with and I'm ready to do it.

no sadly, i dont. but i tell u what, ive never been happier wit the sound they give off. even wit my truck having the two-cat exhaust on it, i just kicked off that muffler and threw on that super 40, welded it, and got the tips put on, and it sounds perfect to me. cause wit the two-cat system, there's not alot of air goin through, so it keeps it quieter than expected and still with a very low rumble, but wit the shorter pipes, it still rumbles and roars when u floor it. i figured that if i go wit some magnaflow high-flow cats, id get a louder sound, but for right now, i love it.

o wait, u have an 07? id say that if u went wit a super 40, either dump it, or dual them out the side. if u go to my gallery, thats how i have it. i figured that wit the longer pipes goin out the back, that there will be less sound. i like the SVT style my truck has now, IMO

I owned a Grand Am myself and I can certainly agree with you, it was a POS. I loved the day I traded that thing in on my 2003 FORD Sport Trac.

i appreciate the compliment! i took a BIG chance wit that. its a pet-peeve of mine that if somethin dont look or work right on my truck, it bothers the f--k outta me! but i asked the guy who put the tips on (good friend of mine) what he though, and just said run it out the side, like a Lightning, although my truck is nowhere even CLOSE to bein as fast . but i really liked the results, makes it pretty quiet when ur drivin but lets people know ur there when u pass them on the highway

I'm the same way.

I"ve got a dent in my rear bumper thanks to some *** and every time I walk outside it bothers the hell out of me.
