Feel like im bogged down
First a little info...
I have a 3" level and stock tires and rims so far...
Just changed plugs.
Tires are properly inflated.
I'm driving down the road and I feel like my truck doesn't coast at all, the brakes aren't dragging the ebrake is off. It's not extreme and if I didnt know my truck I probably wouldn't even notice... I know the level effects the aerodynamics but I did a block in the rear and still has a forward stance... What would make it not roll as well? I dont know the exact words to use... Any ideas?

Also I went on a 260 mile trip and it was mostly open road not highway but 65-70mph and I averaged 15.66 mpg that is an exact measurement I filled up before I left and right when I got back just to calculate..
I'm not saying the fuel mileage is bad... I'm Asking about the dragging feeling... The truck won't coast well... Let of the accelerator and the truck slows on its own more than naturally.

Take the sail out of the bed :P
But really, check your brakes to see if they are dragging a little bit. If could also be caused by a bad alignment. In the end there's a llot of ways it could happen, I'm just telling you from firsthand experience and what's happened on my '91 that can literally go from 60 to 45 in about 1/8th of a mile lol

My truck does the same thing lately... Pretty sure my brakes are dragging a bit. I need a new driver side front caliper as it sticks a bit once its really warmed up and I come to a complete stop

I have an '04 f-150 xlt reg cab, long box with the 4.6...
I've been experiencing the same drag feeling problem...
truck has 130K kilometers (81k miles)
so far I've replaced..
air filter, fuel filter, plugs, transmission filter, transmission fluid and flush (just for maintenance) both IWE's (broke/defective), passenger front brake calliper (sticking), and an o2 sensor ( C.E.L. bank 1 sensor 2, wire was corroded)
after all that I still have that feeling that it's lagging or being held back.. it's weird
the last time I calculated my gas mileage I got 12.5mpg (mixed city, highway driving) just going through a tank currently and waiting to see what I'll get... we'll see
I hope you find your solution, cause I'm still trying to find mine lol! and if I do find mine I'll definitely post it!
