Efin sweet BF. And yeah, that's exactly why I think it Bad***** when folks find a way to make them go fast! Nothing's better than a sleeper... and a big ol' truck that hauls ***** that no one expects to be fast is the sweetest thing out there.

I miss my diesel f250. I had it tuned up pretty good

With a contractor cap and at stock height, I looked like a old man carpenter. The only thing that gave it away was my nearly bald rear tires and my dual exhaust. I had the tips tucked up under the rear fenders behind the tires....real sleeper look. I had it dynoed once and if I remember correctly, I think it was pushing around 450-475hp and 700-750ft lbs. It was fast off the line and loud as hell.

I'd love to do a supercharger on my 150, but too much money. I'll just wait and buy another diesel in a couple years

Dynotech Headers longtubes ceramic coated
Magnaflow hi flow cats, muffler
Xpipe
170 t-stat
HTO plugs
Pillar gauge pop with af meter and boost gauge. Tranny temp coming soon.
Driveshaftspecialist Driveshaft to handle the power
Fore precision fuel system with twin 255lph pumps (only part not installed by me as it requires custom tuning to even start the truck after install. Done by Troyer)
95mm Maf and 39lb injectors
Retro fitted 2010 F150 efans to my truck
Built tranny and 3500 Circle D stall converter
Custom fitted dual air to water coolers for the intercooler on the blower
10psi pulley
Custom tunes from Troyer performance.
Over the holidays I'll be adding 4.11 Yukon gears and traction bars. Sure I've forgotten some stuff but that's the basics. Should run 12.8 next spring. We shall see.

Im with you. Im an elevator constructor in washington dc, but lm from southern md. No shop has touched my truck. I did everything in my driveway. Dont have as many mods as you but I just started, Im only 23 years old

Keep at it man. I got much more respect for those that do thier own mods. Although, not everyone has the ability or tools to do thier own. But being a wrench monkey, I like doing my own stuff. This way I know EXACTLY what I've got in it.

Diesels are the sh**!!! There was a guy that I went to Wyotech with and he has a 06 Chevy 2500 with the Duramax in it, 4X4, single rear wheel, lifted 8" and that thing smoked most cars at the school. Not sure what all he had under the hood (I think just exhaust, bigger turbo housing, and a programmer), but it sounded like a dang 747 taking off every time he left campus for Techer500. lol That's what they called it when we were all let out after school, since the school is right off the highway, we all used it as an excuse to haul *****. lmao Thus the teachers dubbed it the Techer500. lol

"back in the day" I knew a guy who put a Caddilac 500" in his '67 chevy 2WD. That thing would disappear in the smoke cloud from the burnouts. Gas was only .25 a gallon of course.

It truely sadens me that I missed out on that generation of muscle cars which has now been replaced by rice burners. I wish it were that easy now a days to just swap a big motor into a small, light weight car and destroy everything in sight. The days of the back yard mechanic and weekend warrior is fading fast. Seems like we can barely do anything now days to our vehicles with out special tools and manual thicker than a copy of War and Peace.
