I think it might look good...
I don't think it would last. When windows get tinted it's on the inside away from the elements. Not to mention tint is pretty frail stuff. So the first time it gets hit by a rock going down the road it would be ruined.

Now if you were to bake the lens off of the headlight, tint the inside of the lens, and then reseal it would work a lot better.

NO! I said I was thinking of putting window tint on my bumper.. psh

Haha.. it was just a thought. Didn't realize that window tint went on the inside of the windows, I guess that makes way more sense.

I have seen people tinting headlights on youtube, think it just doesn't last long?
I have to take the lens off for the retrofit anyway, so maybe I'll take it to the tint shop then.. maybe I'll skip it..

I would really skip it. Just take your headlights apart and paint the chrome piece plate (don't paint the turn signal chrome piece, tape it off) and it gives a cleaner look if your trying to have a black theme.. MY buddy painted his headlights with that tint stuff inside and he can barely see at night. He had to get HIDs and they still look like regular headlights now. Not worth it to me.

I wouldn't use the spray tint. Seems like it owuld be too hard to get a really light, even coat. But I think a light tint would look really really really good.

That's exactly how I was planning on painting them. Chrome shroud for the head, and leaving the turn signal reflector chrome.

I just think a light tint would make it look 100x better

I read your post the other day. It looks great, but I just can't get past it.. I really think a tint would take it over the top.

Depending on what state you live in depends on legalities of tint. In Texas the law is 25% light transference on the two front doors. You can probably get by with the cops but it's inspection that they are cracking down on. If you live in the Dallas area I'm a tinter and as a favor to forum members I would be willing to tint it as dark as you want for 30 dollars for the doors and 40 dollars with the visor strip. That is my offer, the shop that I work at is wally's auto tint and there it starts at 50 dollars all the way up to 95 for normal customers plus 20 for a visor.

Since ur a tinted let me ask u. My friend told me he read in the star telegram that the state was doing away with quite a few laws and one of them was the law that u can't have limo tint on the front windows. Have u heard anything about this? I haven't researched it yet just figured I would ask
