That's fine I just want to make sure that getting the front windows at 20% will match the back windows looking from the outside.

20% or 80% (depending where your from). I highly recomend a "Limo" 6" windsheild strip. Our windshields are huge and on bright sunny days it allows too much light in and the front windaows will look slightly lighter, the front strip deters this and makes for a perfect match in any sun/shade.

^ It is a really huge windshield. I think the only glass bigger is from one of these dustbusters..

yea 20% matches the back perfect. i did 35% on my front windows just to keep the cops off me during the day.. but at nite it looks just as dark as 20% plus i can still see my side mirrors at nite which is always handy.

I had mine tinted 17% and it's a perfect match. The shop you take it too will tell you what you need to match the back. I'm sure 20% works good too. It cost me around $50 bucks at my local shop. As for the cops, I've never been pulled over strictly for tint. The only time in nine years anybody said anything to me was once when I got a speeding ticket. I've probably been pulled over 5-6 times and thats the only time anybody's said anything about the tint. Probably just depends on what kind of mood the cop is in.

In this case would make them darker? Is this because of the light let in through the windshield?

I went 30% on mine. Still technically illegal, but not noticeably. The troopers around here are d*@ks about tint. Mine cost me $100 with a 20% glare strip for the windshield.

Since the topic is new.. just wondering... anyone ever get their bumpers tinted?

When I finish my HID retrofit, I'm gonna take it to a shop and see if they'll put scrap over my headlights, so I can see how it will look... gonna check out bumpers too.

I think it might look good...

Are you saying you are going to put window tint on your bumper?
