i was wondering the same thing and want to keep the stock look, went and asked the car audio place near me (my cousin is part owner of it) he said it would be tough to get a more powerful compact amp but you can certainley change out the subwofer (CVT) but you are limited to the power going to it, what i want is just a higher rated sub so it doesnt top out when i crank up the volume (and basss of course).... let me know if you find out anything abt amp

The factory box already kills the room you have under the rear seat. Just replace it with a 10" in a single box. If you really want the ABS plastic box, you can use the Qlogic box (see my gallery for pics), otherwise you can find prefab boxes for sub $100. You'll waste money trying to replace the current sub with another shallow 8, especially if you try to retain the stock amp.

Gator,

What sub would fit? I have a MTX amp sitting in my garage from my old system and would replace the factory amp.

Hey guys there is a sub and box made by pioneer that fits perfectly under our back seats it the Pioneer TS-SWX251
It's a 10'' sub 800 watts total and 200 watts RMS! I only had to do alittle modification to my carpet under the drivers rear seat!! I will try and get some pictures up!
