Default Factory CD player

Bought a 2007 factory CD player on eBay. I am putting it in my 05. Guy said it was a 6 disc, but later told me it was a single. It's to late to put it in tonight. It has an "aux" button but no slot for the cable? And there is an extra harness spot on the back. Can anyone fill me in?

Antenna connection, harness slot I do not know, the harness that was in my on my factory 2005 radio.

You've lucked out with the 07, it's the first year that Aux actually meant a 3.5mm jack in.

Read my sticky in the audio subforum: https://www.f150forum.com/f30/2004-2...-basics-49666/

Pickup the reverse harness from Metra to give you the connector to connect the aux in.

You can either buy a flush mount jack, the OEM dash top tray with the jack, or just run a 3.5mm female to wherever you'd like.

So what does the AUX do on a 04-06? My 6 disk has one but I am guessing that there is a hookup in the back of the unit.

It fits awesome. Radio works, but now the cd won't play? Is that due to the 16 pin harness or did the seller screw me?
