Looks like my whining sound was coming from the Idler Pulleys too. The grooved Idler Pulley kind of "shook" back and forth and definitely had most of the noise coming from it. Just decided to replace the pulley, the smooth pulley next to it and the whole serpentine belt while I'm at it.. $65.00 at O'Reileys.. Let y'all know how that works out

I've been at college so I haven't had time to take it to a shop, Im tired of trying to fix it myself, so far I've done all the idler pulleys and the belt.

Just got it to a shop today, it was the belt tensioner, $150 to replace it, I know I could do it myself but Im away from home with no tools and not much time, so just getting it done so I don't have to listen to the terrible whine

The bearing in my pully was shattered the belt was only thing holding it against the block that it made a 2mm indent in the block.

On mine it was the pulley on the tensioner. You don't have to buy the whole tensioner just the pulley itself.

Yeah that's what it was, just the pulley, figures that would be it after I replaced 3 other pullies
