I go hunting alot and i like being able to stash my rifles under the rear seat... not gunna happen with a sub back there. also its great being able to stash them under the seat while im at work so i can leave the office and go straight to my shooting spots and not have to worry about "prying eyes" seeing my guns... what to do what to do????

what we really need is a front center bench seat replacement for our trucks! i think im just gunna bite the bullet and do a custom fiberglass guy like for the super duties so i can retain my front center seat.

as far as the OP's wants... you might be able to fit clearance for your alpine 12 under the rear seat but the custom box will take up almost all of your under seat floor space to get the air volume required to make your sub work right and not sound like crap, just an fyi. a shop will proly charge ya a cool few hundred bucks to do it right too.
Ya, I know. Looking to see if one of the members on here will make me one since he makes boxes for his vehicles.

Center console would be the route to go with your 12 and have your under the seat room.. Once I find someone that build me one I'm doing center console with a L7...

My buddy used to have a 12" Type X and an L7 in his trunk. It was so loud it would shake his rear view mirror off....

Btw, I'm seeing if "idb2328" will be able to build me a decent center console type enclosure with a port on it. I'm taking pictures and sending him specs today to see if he can do it while keeping the sound quality good!

I'm talking about something more along the lines of the backseat area. Granted I'll most likely be taking out the center seat, but I'm not too worried about that seeing as how none of my friends like sitting there due to the lack of leg room.

I'm not completely up to date with the lingo that goes with trucks, but I'm going to assume that means 40% of the cab is the "backseat" while 60% is the front portion of the vehicle. If that's what you mean, I'm not exactly sure.

My box fits 2 10inch JLw1s and amp behind the seat. Sounds great especially with all 4 alpine type s speakers the 2nd pic the box wasn't pushed all the way back nice clean look
