Default F 150 won't start

My 2007 F-150 5.4 developed an issue today. The engine turns over, but the engine wouldn't fire. When I released the key, the engine kept turning over. Had to turn the key to off to get the starter to stop. Tried it several times thru out the day, same thing. Checked fuses, look ok.

Any thoughts ? Thanks

07 is designed to where you can bump the key to the start position and it will turn over till it starts or you turn the key to off, that is normal. When you get it running again try it sometime. Just bump it to start and let off it will continue to turn over till it starts. As for not starting are there any other symptoms? What is the security light on the dash doing while you're trying to start it?

Stephen, no other symptoms, truck had been running fine. Nothing came up on the dashboard.

There is a little red dome light on top of the dash up by the windshield. What is that light doing. Do you have another key you can try?

Red light is flashing every second or so. I tried the spare key and no change.

Sounds like the security system is working normal. My next suggestion would be what tech said. Fuel Pump Driver Module. Search it and you'll see is a very common problem and can cause your symptoms. Not to expensive or difficult to change.

Default Whoa sounds like start relay contacts hanging up ?

Fdmn module ? I think you can spray some start fluid in throttle body to see if its lack of fuel . Could also be fuel pressure sensor on fuel rail . I would try FDMN first .
OOps! just read newer model start seals in until start or turning off .
