After coming from a 2015 f150 to a 2004.... though the gas cap might not be hard to remove, it is just something else to worry about. (string breaking, the cap its self breaking) It is super nice not having one. Just for convince if nothing more. My .02.

When I'm at home in Oregon their stupid state law prevents me from pumping my own gas but I spend 5 - 6 months/yr in AZ so it's not a problem. I don't NEED an E Z Fill cap - I simply wanted to know if one was available for my truck.

Re: whether or not I should be driving b/c I asked about a gas cap - that has to be one of the dumbest things I've heard in a long time.

Except for the butt load of fuel filters and tanks that need dropped on our work trucks that don't have caps... you'd be amazed what can make its way in there... so much for hosing out the gas cap every time the truck is washed....

Now work trucks... those a different. The necessities are 4x4 and a radio! Keep it simple!

This capless thing is one of the stupidest things Ford has come up with, especially in conjunction with a non-serviceable fuel filter. Ranks right up there with electric power steering and aluminum bodies.
