EZ Fill Gas Cap Available?
I have a 2005 F-150 scab & would like to install a fuel cap that doesn't require removal & I found a couple that specifically state they're not legal in OR (where I live), WA & CA. I had an Escape & a Flex with that style & they're a lot easier to use and since I spend 5 - 6 months in the SW during the wet season at home it's strictly a convenience for me because I can't pump my own gas in OR.
OR & NJ - the last two holdouts for no self-service with the exception of some very small towns in OR after the station closes for the night. |
we have a closed fuel system.. not sure if that would work out... |
won't work on the older trucks. You will keep throwing EVAP codes
|
Thank You!
One more disappointment in life - |
Gas caps are not that hard to take off buddy.

Up there, I would think that having an actual cap would be beneficial. Keeps moisture out of the fuel.

Not so much when you're disabled but I didn't want to bring that into the conversation.

If you cannot pump your own gas, why does it matter if it's a regular cap or not? Or am I not understanding this correctly?
