Default Exhaust tip or Tailpipe?

I have a silver 2007 screw xlt and I like the idea of a chrome exhaust tip since it will match the rims and bumpers, but I feel it might look "cheesy". I also seen they have stainless steel tailpipes. Any thoughts/experiences? (The exhaust is stock btw)

IMO, it becomes a pain to polish them up all the time...

I bought a high quantity magnaflow SS tip (35204), and it has done nothing but pissed me off. It looked great until I drove the truck anywhere. And now after a few months it has even started to rust.

I have Banks Monster stainless steel exhaust and yeah the tips ugly anyways, but it doesn't even clean up easy. Mines not rusting like the above post but I would have to pull the tip off and polish it with a drill to make it look good everytime I clean my truck. I'm over it. Maybe if you are **** and polish your truck every wash then you will be fine. The flat finish of a pipe keeps it easier to look alright haha

Do you do anything special to keep them clean and do you know what kind they are by any chance?

I have the same mbrp stainless tips as 08screwCA and they have seen two winters of Michigan salt and dirt roads and they still shine right up when I wash the truck.
