Default exhaust question

i have an 04 f150 (new body style) super cab with the 4.6L V8...i am looking into getting a 40 series flowmaster, but not sure which one to get (original 40, super 40, or 40 series classic). i am looking for an aggressive sound that isnt too loud from inside the cab, and i'm not sure whether or not to dump it or just run the tailpipe to the back. any suggestions???

I have the original 40 on mine, and I love it. She sounds like a beast when you get on it, and has a really nice growling idle. Stealthy when you're just cruisin down the street without pushin the gas. I am really happy with it =)

what engine do you have? the 4.6 or 5.4? and do you have it dumped, dueled, or tailpipe running all the way to the back?

I have the 4.6 as well. Not sure what you mean by "dumped", but I just had them take out the stock and replace with the new. It's not dueled either

i think some are quiet like the 40 series delta flow...i think the delta flows are a little bit quieter across all the series and i think typically the higher the number the quieter the muffler...so i hear

I have a super 44 and I love the way it sounds. I don't think it is that loud buy you can be the judge of that. Click on the link below to hear it. Let me know what you think.
