ok could someone clue me in on the whole "back-pressure" deal regarding exhaust. I am needing to replace my stock muffler on my '08 f150/5 .4 and want to change it as little as possible but don't want to pay thru the nose for the stock replacement from Ford so need to know what aftermarket system is safe for my truck. as a side-note i'm with this truck for the long haul. its been very good to me so far and i want to return the favor so thats why im concerned because some have said w/out proper back pressure you can harm your engine overtime... thanks in advance for advice.

Get a muffler that suits your sound level. If you want to stay around stock sound, a 22" Magnaflow or larger will be perfect.
