Default Exhaust

I'm sure this has been beaten to death but what are your opions of this set up all opions positive and negative wanted.

Dynatech supermaxx headers LT,
Magna flow Hi flow cats, and
Roush dual off road exhaust out the back .
for a total cost of aprox $1670.00.
The exhaust system on the truck needs to be replaced.

Guess I should have mentioned its a 2004 f150 5.4l 4x4 fx4

Thanks sdf

I have the same truck and Roush has discontinued their exhausts for our trucks early last year. I have contacted them prior to purchasing my Borla. Also, my Borla was to replace the Dynomax that was on there previously. I would go with Random Tech before Magnaflow for catalytic converters. I would go with Stainless Works or Dynatech for headers over any other manufacturer for our vehicles. From the cat-back I would definitely get Borla, Corsa or Stainless Works. And finally a tuner otherwise you'll never see the true potential of the hidden power.

Thanks for the input, it seems since the 5.0l came out the 5.4l aftermarket is disappearing. What do you like about the Borla and I haven't herd of Random Tech but I will look into them. Thanks Again

Still lots of stuff for our motors as you will have to look into the Mustang vendors for parts. Our 5.4 3V has a large following, equivalent to the Vortec series in GM and the Hemi series in Chrysler.

Random Tech cats are far better quality than Magnaflow. Some people have had issues with their product but from my own personal experience as well as others close to me they are far better than Magnaflow. The C5 and C6 Vette owners use them to replace the restrictive GM units.

No, I have Borla #140137. It's not a true dual, it's a SIDO (single in, dual out). If you look for my thread "Goodbye Dynomax Hello Borla" you will see the detailed pics with installation instructions.
