Looking to get a dual exaust package from the cat back.I would like a nice throaty sound,something that is loud,that will def get heads to turn and notice the sound. I am new to this so any recomendations anybody can throe at me would be awsome and helpfull.Looking to buy in the next two weeks.Thanks ya'll.

i just bought borla exaust for my '04 5.4... it was a little over-priced for the sound that it delivers. when i get on the gas it has a throaty sport sound to it, but if your looking for the loudness then look at cherrybomb/gibson/flowmaster. those three are pretty loud in my opinion.

 

use the search function, there are literally hundreds of these threads that start of something like I have an 0-something 4.6 or 5.4 screw/scab, which exhaust sounds the best for my truck?

How loud do you want it? Do you have any kind of inspections you need to pass?

 

If you really want loud, go with the roush racing "offroad" exhaust. It is not "legal" for road use, but unless you are at wot next to a cop, you wont get in trouble. It is the loudest i have heard. Really nice sound too. There are some good videos on youtube, check it out

 

Hey guys thanks for the info on exaust.After listening to the flowmaster,magnaflow,borla,gibson and roush dual exaust sounds on you tube.Made my decision.Going to go with the roush off road series.Yes not street legal,but i loved the way it sounds.And hey if a cop pulls me over for it,so be it,just means he is jelouse cause his chevy impala doesnt sound so good,lol.Anyways i am also going to keep things on my truck with one brand name.Have always liked roush and hey i already have the roush cold air intake,and hopefully this summer,i hope to have the roush super charger for the f-150's on mine.When i get the exaust put on,will post pics.

hey bucko,ya your right about the cops pulling me over,lol.but hey the first time is always a warning,i will just have to hope that ever other time i get pulled over,its a diferent cop,lol.but then again cops do keep a record,damm either way i cant win,lol.screw it and them,lol
